Air Hockey is a game of fast reflexes and swift tactics – score goals by directing the puck into Lord Mallet’s goal across the table. To win the round, score 7 goals before your opponent does.

HOW TO PLAY

Use your mallet to aim the puck straight into Lord Mallet’s goal. Ricocheting the puck off the sides of the table is a good way to make things tougher on Lord Mallet, but it is harder to master. But if you want to beat Lord Mallet you’d better feel comfortable shooting pucks at any angle! Lord Mallet might go easy on you when the game starts, but he will show no mercy once you start beating him.

SCORING

Each goal you earn that exceeds the number of goals earned by your opponent earns you 80 points. Each Berserker hit that follows your shooting the puck earns you a certain number of points, as explained below. Completing a round earns you bonus points.

BERSERKERS

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to light up Lord Mallet’s mallet? Wouldn’t it be a problem for Lord Mallet if he had no mallet?! That’s what the Berserkers are for – hinder Lord Mallet’s ability to play or earn extra points using one of the following Berserkers:

Speed Buff: 55 pts – When the puck comes in contact with the Speed Buff it receives a speed boost for a few seconds. Things might get hectic during those seconds, so stay focused!

Freezer: 65 pts – When the puck comes in contact with the Freezer, the mallet that last shot the puck freezes for a few seconds. Those few seconds provide either Lord Mallet or you the chance for an easy goal.

Igniter: 75 pts – When the puck comes into contact with the Igniter, it bursts into flames. When a mallet hits a burning puck it becomes scorched. Hit the puck with a scorched mallet and the mallet disintegrates.

Lucky Puck: 100 pts – Hitting the Lucky Puck grants you an extra chance to score a goal in addition to the regular game puck.

Be advised – Berserkers can also be used by your opponent. You’re playing in Lord Mallet’s domain. He’s king of his realm until you prove otherwise, and that means he knows how to take advantage of the Berserkers. Beat him at his own game!

SAVING YOUR GAME

When you save a game, you will be able to resume playing following the last goal scored either by you or by Lord Mallet, but only once you’ve scored at least 1 goal. All game information will reset to that point.
