OBJECT

The object of the game is to guess given words or expressions.

HOW TO PLAY

There are 26 letter buttons on display in the game area. Use the Arrow keys to move the cursor between the available letters, press SELECT to choose different letters and attempt to guess the current given word or expression based on the letters you have correctly revealed. You have 8 attempts to guess the correct letter until Sensei falls into the bucket and you lose one life. In Timed Mode, you need to play quickly to find the word before you run out of time.

HELPERS

The following Helpers may help you find the correct word or expression. Use them wisely, and keep in mind that they are not always available:

– HINT reveals one letter, all the times it appears in the word. The Hint is available only once per word and will cost you points.

– JACKPOT multiplies the points earned for guessing a word correctly. You may use the Jackpot option only until you have revealed the first 3 correct letters in the word. Afterwards, the Jackpot option will no longer be available. The more words you guess using the Jackpot option the more points you’ll earn. If you fail to guess a word after activating the Jackpot option, the Jackpot resets to the minimum amount.

– TIME FREEZE freezes the timer for 30 seconds. It is only available in Timed Mode and you may use it only once per round.

– JOKER reveals one letter all the times it appears in the word and does not cost you points. But first you need to earn the Joker by revealing a word in less then 45 seconds. The Joker is only available in Timed Mode.

ROUNDS

To complete a round you must successfully guess 5 words or expressions. As the game progresses, more difficult words are presented and you have less time to reveal them (in Timed Mode).

BONUS ROUNDS

Once you complete a regular round successfully, you can play a Bonus Round. Scrambled letters of a random word are presented. Unscramble the letters to find the word within the time limit to earn bonus points. No Helpers in this round. You are on your own…

SAVING THE GAME

When you save a game, you will be able to resume playing from the start of a new word in the last round played, and all game information will reset to the start of the new word in that round.
